Frequently asked questions
Think of it like the difference between a Physiotherapist and a Personal Trainer. A Clinical Psychologist has a Doctorate, can diagnose mental illness, and treats severe disorders (usually costing £100+/hour).
A MindBridge Graduate has a Degree (BSc or MSc) in Psychology. They are experts in listening, support, and coping strategies, but they do not diagnose or treat deep trauma. They provide "Support," not "Medical Treatment," which is why we can offer the service for just £19.99/month.
No. MindBridge is designed to be a "bridge." It is perfect for people on waiting lists, those needing daily support, or those who find therapy too expensive. If you have a severe mental health condition, we recommend seeing a clinical specialist. We are here to support you while you wait, or to help you maintain your wellbeing.
MindBridge is not an emergency service. We are a support tool. However, we take safety seriously. If you express that you are at risk, our "Red Flag" system alerts a Senior Clinical Supervisor immediately. We will direct you to emergency services (like A&E or 999) and support you in getting the right help.
Yes. Your subscription includes one 15-minute "Video Check-in" per month to set goals and put a face to the name. The rest of the month, we support you via secure text and voice notes, so help is always in your pocket.
Need more face-to-face time? You can book an additional 50-minute "Deep Dive" video session with your Graduate at any time for just £45 (pay-as-you-go).
